Force Technology, Agro Food Park 15, 8200 Aarhus – meeting room 1 - Tuesday, September 29, 2026 at 09:00–16:00
Force Technology, Venlighedsvej 4, 2970 Hørsholm
Registration deadline: Thursday, 24 September at 12:00.
Theme
Electromagnetic shielding is essential for controlling emissions, improving immunity, and ensuring the reliable operation of electronic systems.
These EMC Club meetings take participants from the fundamental physics of shielding to practical solutions involving coatings, 3D-printable materials, cables, connectors, and mobile EMC test facilities.
Experts from industry and Force Technology will share their knowledge, technologies, and practical experience.
Join the meeting to gain new insights, see real-world examples, and meet professionals from other companies facing similar EMC challenges.
Below you will find more on the program and speakers.

More on the program and speakers
EM Shielding Theory, Materials and Diffraction, Morten Sørensen, Force Technology
This presentation provides the practical theoretical foundation for the day’s topics, covering key principles of electromagnetic shielding, shielding materials, and diffraction. The focus is on understanding how electromagnetic fields interact with structures and materials in real-world applications. Relevant examples and case studies will be included to illustrate the concepts and their practical implications.
EMI Shielding Using Conductive Coatings, Susanne Libergreen, Polyteknik
EMI shielding solutions and conductive coatings tailored for modern electronic systems. Learn how high-performance thin‑film technologies can improve EMC robustness in demanding applications. The session will cover materials, processes, and real-world use cases across industries such as defence, aerospace, and electronics manufacturing. Polyteknik is a Danish company with more than 30 years of experience in developing and producing thin protective and functional coatings for industrial applications.
3D-Printable Polymers for Electromagnetic Shielding and Radar Absorption, Lisa-Marie Pouilly, HYMAG’IN
HYMAG’IN develops polymer-based materials with tailored electromagnetic properties for reducing RF interference, minimizing antenna coupling, and controlling Radar Cross Section (RCS). The materials are available as filaments for additive manufacturing, enabling rapid prototyping and complex geometries, or as pellets for injection molding in higher-volume production.
Material technologies include:
Shielding polymers – covering frequency ranges from approximately 0.5 to 100 GHz, providing 15–35 dB shielding effectiveness, with densities around 0.9 g/cm³.
Absorbing polymers – operating from about 1 to 40 GHz, achieving 10–50 dB reflection loss with broadband absorption performance up to 20 GHz
These material systems support flexible electromagnetic design in applications requiring controlled interference levels or reduced electromagnetic signatures.
Lisa-Marie is Project Manager at HYMAG’IN, where she identifies new applications for advanced electromagnetic materials and supports customer projects.
EMC Field Solutions: Bringing the EMC Test Facility to Your Site, Rasmus Brun Behnke (Aarhus) and Per Thåstrup Jensen, Force Technology, (Hørsholm)
This presentation introduces Force Technology’s mobile EMC test facility, built as a deployable reverberation chamber measuring 8.6 × 16.25 × 6.8 m. The session covers the chamber’s shielding design, and a small demonstration tent will be brought along to illustrate the shielding concept.
Transfer Impedance: The Overlooked Source of Radiated Emissions
Transfer impedance describes how current flowing on one side of a cable shield produces an unwanted voltage on the other side. It is often overlooked, yet it is the source of many radiated emission problems. This presentation explores the underlying physics, the influence of cables and connectors, and how transfer impedance is measured in practice.
Update on Standardization, Per Thåstrup Jensen, Force Technology
No meeting would be complete without Per bringing us up to speed on the latest developments in standardisation.
